Parrot Zik Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones Review

Finally, I got my hands on a pair of Parrot Zik Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones. Its been a while since I’ve wanted to do a review on these very popular headphones. The Parrot Zik headphones have created a lot of buzz in the wireless headphone world. Mostly because they are wireless, while also providing unbelievable sound quality.

But, the Parrot Zik Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones go a step further to incorporate a whole slew of cool new features never seen before on headphones, let alone a wireless pair. These headphones also have a super cool futuristic look to them, leaving you intrigued upon first look.

Parrot Zik Features And Design

These innovative headphones have so many features, and they all work great. After unboxing the Parrot Zik I noticed that the rechargeable battery was not actually inside the headphones yet. The right ear piece has a magnetic cap that you can easily pull off and pop in the battery, the headphones are then ready for charging. Once you have them fully charged your ready to start using them. You can either start off by pairing them with your device (Bluetooth), or you can use the cable that they also come with.

One of the main features of these wireless noise cancelling headphones, is the ability to change the track, adjust the volume, and answer phone calls, just by using the touch sensor on the outside of the left ear cup. Swiping up and down adjusts volume, while left to right will flip your tracks, and tapping in the centre will answer calls. These extremely convenient features make your life a lot easier when on the go.

The Parrot Zik Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are a little bit on the heavier side, this would be one thing that I can see improving in the future. But at least they are not too big and bulky. The headband extension movement is a little but rough as well, and requires a nice tug to get the headband to extend. The pivoting on the earpieces is very smooth. The overall comfort of these headphones is very nice. They provide a nice tight fit with very soft memory foam ear-cups, also providing excellent noise cancelling properties. The Parrot Zik Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are mainly all metal.

Parrot Zik Sound Quality

Like I had mentioned before, these wireless noise cancelling headphones pretty much have it all, and that includes mind blowing audio quality. Powerful is almost an understatement, the sound is so strong and robust you would think your inside an enclosed surround sound system room. Even on some of my lower quality music files, these headphones killed it. The rumbling bass could possibly be the strongest i’ve ever experience in a leisurely pair of headphones. If your looking for the best of the best in all departments, look no further then the Parrot Zik Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones.
